If Father, Son and Holy Spirit and all equally one God, does this mean God died when Christ was crucified? Surely this contradicts the triune Godhead.

Yes, it does contradict the trinity. The man, Jesus, died on the cross. Our Father God is everlasting (Isaiah 40:28) and eternal (Deuteronomy 33:27). He cannot die. God and Jesus are two distinct beings.

Jesus shows He is one in purpose and spirit with God by His prayer in John 17:2. “That they all may be […]

What is the mind of God like?

God reveals Himself through the Bible and nature. God is a spirit being with unlimited abilities, who has existed from eternity past and will exist for eternity future. What He has revealed to us is what we, as mere mortals, are capable of understanding. He does encourage us to “come and reason together.” (Isaiah 1:18) […]

Who gave the Wisdom to Stephen Hawkings / Einstein / Edison and other famous scientists to find something about this Universe? Did GOD use them to reveal knowledge to the world or because they seemed earnest?

All knowledge belongs to God. But God is not directing this present evil world. So, how is mankind getting so much knowledge?

Jesus is bringing knowledge to […]

Why could God not forgive Adam and Eve after He chased them from the Garden of Eden?

God acts on the principles which define His very character: justice, love, power, and wisdom. The Psalmist says in Psalm 89:14 “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face”. The foundation of God’s law is justice. Justice operates with mercy, but justice must also be met.

When […]

Was Jesus created by God or always next to God?

The following scriptures are used by the apostle John to describe the relationship between God and Jesus:

Jesus is called the “only begotten Son” of God in John 1:18, John 3:16, 18, and 1 John 4:9. The most accurate, word-for-word translations of the Bible translate Strong’s word G3439, μονογενής or monogenēs, as “only begotten Son.” […]

How old is God?

Age refers to a beginning. But God has no beginning and no end. Psalm 106:48 (NASB), “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting.” Psalm 90:2, “Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.”

God […]

What is God`s plan?

There are four main points in God’s plan:

1. Through the permission of evil, God's intelligent creation will learn the results of disobedience and sin.
2. God will provide a way for the recovery of mankind and grant the willing an opportunity for everlasting life. This recovery is through the all atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
3. From among […]

I have lost faith in God. What can I do?

You are not alone. When God does not fulfill our expectations, it can lead to a loss of faith. Many times people expect God to heal a loved one, or save a marriage, or fix some circumstance. When God does not do what the person hoped for, then he can lose faith in God. But, […]

What is the meaning of life?

Jesus prayed, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent," John 17:3. The more we know the character of God and of Jesus; the closer we walk with them in intimate fellowship; the greater our understanding of God's word, the Bible; the […]

How may I know and be sure that I am praying in the spirit and in the will of God?

“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,”  Ephesians 6:18.

To pray in the spirit is to pray in harmony with the power and doctrines of God, praying prayers that are in harmony with […]
