Where did Buddha, Einstein or other mystics get their wisdom? Does JEHOVAH GOD give any honest, sincere seekers wisdom?

All truths, both in the natural world and spiritual dimensions, belong to God. Deuteronomy 29:29, ‘“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” The purpose of revealed knowledge is to […]

1 Samuel 16:14. Why did the Lord send an evil spirit to trouble Saul? If God is good, why is there evil in Him?

There is no evil in God. 1 John 1:5, “God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.” Additionally, “God is love,” and “God…cannot lie,” (1 John 4:16, Titus 1:2).

1 Samuel 16:14 reads, “But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.”

The word […]

Does GOD have a PHYSICAL FORM or is it UNSEEN Divine Energy filled with intelligence which created all?

We do not know what the body of any spirit or heavenly being is like. Jesus taught that spirit beings were like the wind. He said to Nicodemus, “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so […]

What is the meaning of Jehovah-nissi?

Jehovah-Nissi is a compound of Strong’s words H3068 and H5251. It is defined as “Jehovah (is) my banner.”

The word only occurs once in the Bible in the story of Israel winning in battle over the Amalekites.

Why do some people fight over different religions? Does the Bible say don't respect other religions?

Some believe we should fight over religion. Israel was told to remove all idolatry from the land. Ezekiel 14:6, “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices!” Those who followed false religions were to be put to death. Leviticus 20:27, “Now a man or a […]

Can a Christian become a police officer?

God is a god of justice and order. In Titus 3:1 (NLT), Paul teaches believers “to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.” We should even pray “for kings and all those in authority,” 1 Timothy 2:2 (NIV). Why?  Paul explains this in the […]

What is the Godhead?

The term/noun “Godhead” (Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9) was introduced by John Wycliffe when he translated the Bible into English (1395). John Tyndale in his latter translation (1525) used “Godhead” in Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9. The Greek text, however, contains three slightly different words, where Tyndale uses only one term, “Godhead.” Theologians have […]

To whom should we pray? To God the Father, to Jesus Christ or to both? In Matthew 6 verse 9 and John 15:16, we are taught to pray to God through Jesus. However, in John 14 verse 14 , Romans 10 verse 12, 2 Corinthians 12 verse 8, and Acts 7 verse 59, both Paul and Stephen prayed to Jesus. Please explain.

We pray to God our Father. At the same time our Father wants us to acknowledge that his son Jesus is the active agent in answering our prayers. The following scriptures, you cited, agree with this thought.

John 14:13-14, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be […]
