Wait on the LORD. (Psalms 27:14)
Job is a good example of patience. God allowed Satan to test him, to prove he would remain faithful even though Satan smote Job with boils, and he suffered many losses. His patient waiting on the LORD was rewarded by more blessings than he had before. Just as with our earthly parents, our Heavenly Father does not always give us exactly what we want just when we want it, but will work out what is best for us if we love and trust him. James 5:11
