God has revealed Himself through creation. Look about you. God must be omnipotent and omniscient in order to create the universe. The wisdom and power displayed in the natural creation are beyond human comprehension. When He chose to create life, justice would require that God would provide all the necessities to sustain life. Which He has done. But love made everything beautiful. Love provided the variety of terrain, beauty of the skies, the changes of the seasons. God’s love made food that is appealing to the eyes and to the taste. So, the very attributes of God – love, justice, wisdom, and power –  are manifest in creation itself.

Feelings come and go. Were we to determine our actions based on feelings, we would constantly be changing our minds. No, God invites us imperfect sinners to reason with Him! What an amazing invitation! Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV), "'Come now, and let us reason together,' Says the LORD, 'Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.'"

Thus, we must first reason that God exists and that He is good. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV), "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Since God created us with reasoning minds, and taken in conjunction with the Divine character, there is an abundant reason to expect that God has provided a Divine revelation of His plans and purposes. This we find in the Bible.  Romans 10:17 (NKJV), “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." James 4:8 (NKJV), "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

Faith does come with the act of obediently, reverently studying God’s word. 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

We offer a free booklet, God's Grand Plan of the Ages. It covers subjects such as "Why God Permits Evil," Epochs of Time in God's Plan," "God's Judgment Day," "Ransom, Restitution and Resurrection," and a chapter explaining the details of the "Chart of the Ages." The chapters are topical studies in the Bible. Download the PDF: "God's Grand Plan of the Ages"
