We are so sad for you. Sometimes our suffering goes on and on, and we become exhausted. We may wonder how we can continue to bear our burdens. This is the time to turn to God and to other Christians for help.

?Remember when Jesus’s cross became too heavy for Him? Mark 15:20-21 (NIV), 20 “And when they had mocked him (Jesus), they took off the purple robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him. 21 A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross.” God over-ruled so that another person was put in a position to bear the cross for a while.

It is our privilege to help each other with our hard experiences. Galatians 6:2 (NIV), “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Christians should fervently love each other and feel great compassion for our brethren. 1 John 3:16 (NKJV), “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

Therefore, please turn to your fellow Christians to find love and help. Some may be able to listen to your sorrow, and simply by listening they will ease your burden. Others may help by reducing the burden. They may help with physical relief or even monetary relief. The arm of the Lord is not short.

When you don’t know what to do, ask God for wisdom. James 1:5 (ESV), “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” God will certainly guide you through answered prayer, providential over-rulings, and comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (ESV), “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction…”

Finally, remember Hebrews 6:17-19 (NIV), 17 “Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. 18 …, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. 19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…”

Don’t give up. “Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22) God, the great Emperor of the whole universe, loves you. (John 16:27
