1 Peter 5:6-11 (NASB) 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. 10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Why does Satan fiercely roar at us? Because we follow Jesus, who came to take the kingdoms of the world from him:

Stand Your Ground! Do not let the lion’s roar DEVOUR you through the physical maladies of life. Rather, remain DEVOUT in your working alongside of our Lord Jesus knowing that every ounce of our physical strength is sanctified to the very end of our course.

In Conclusion, Resist Satan’s roar. All of us as a body, work together to resist his roar:

1 Peter 5:10-11 (NASB) 10 After you have suffered for a little while,
After you have withstood the roars of the adversary, after you have held each other up and served our Lord Jesus and each other in this most holy work of our lives, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, The almighty Father himself who created this magnificent plan of salvation and invited you to it will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11 To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Who wins? We live at the end of the age and this is a life and death battle!
Romans 16:20 (NASB) 20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Stand Your Ground!
