Signposts of Christ’s Second Presence.
The two most notable events in the history of man are the first and second advents of the Lord Christ Jesus. I think you’d all agree, right? What could be more important or have a greater impact on humanity than those two events? Today we’re going to talk about the second event, namely Signposts of Christ’s second Presence, and we did a part one before, this will be a part two.
Part one was given at the Western Ohio Convention last fall in 2025, and we’ll have a three part after this. Lord willing. We have a summary of what you will find in part one available if you look on chat and if you wish to Download the first 12 point summation. So go to the chat if you’d like and download those if you wish. But today we will have part two of this three part set of discourses.
I pray you will find it very helpful, even just as a refresher, to kind of like sharpen up your, your memory of some of the things you’ve, you’ve loved over the years. But I know if you’re like me, I get, I get rusty and I get forgetful. So a good refresher is good. But maybe for some this will be new. Who listen to this today we will, you know, like I say, have this part two and we’re going to talk about something of serious importance.
And that has great bearing on why most of us here, I think all of us, believe that Jesus returned in 1874. In fact, this proof is so important, we will dedicate this whole presentation, a part two, to this one proof that we believe the adversary has tried very hard to keep the brethren from understanding, and what is it? It’s the great jubilee feature of the Mosaic Law, which is of incredible importance to us. Right.
Excuse me, one second here.
The timing, the features of restitution and our Lord’s return, the divine purpose, dimension and scope of its very significant fulfillment. We all know the date of 1874, but the question is, can we prove that date? Is it important to you to be able to prove it and to prove that the Lord has returned by not only various signs of his presence, but by mathematics, by being able to add it up, as well as by doing some subtraction and arithmetic to land that, that 1874 date? I think many will be surprised they can actually prove that. One second here.
Have a little bit of problem. Here we go. Do you know one way to really please God? Imitate Daniel. Right.
Jehovah was very pleased for example, with Daniel in Daniel 9:2, 3 and verses 21 to 23. For showing such intense interest in chronology by prayer and supplication, God sent Gabriel to tell Daniel he loved him greatly. Can you imagine that? What. What a joy that would be to hear that, Right?
I believe this type of the Jubilee and the math is actually of significant importance to at least attempt to try to understand. For the brethren, this great shadowy type or picture not only proves that we are in the presence of our invisibly returned Lord, but gives us the exact date of that return. Did you know that the validity of Jesus own words are actually at stake? Also, as you will see later, if there is a better way to prove the 1874 date, I’d like you to show it to me. We’ve already outlined, as we said, 12 proofs in signpost part one.
For those who’d like to look that up and prayerfully listen to it, we gave and again we gave this in Western Ohio. Again, I’m going to mention that the download of that. I see already I already mentioned that, so I won’t see it again. Actually, I believe the Jubilee type is the best way for you to directly prove to yourself or someone else that the lord returned in 1874. It’s the very best proof of knowing that exact date and time in my estimation.
And in this discourse, I will share with you my beliefs of why I have personally concluded that not only has our lord returned in 1874, 74, as most of you do, but proves to me also that we are in the first phase of the anatypical times of restitution and harvest of the Gospel age, which I submit are inseparably connected to Christ’s return in Acts 3, 19:21, a benchmark scripture for Bible students. Right. I would suggest that in what you were about to hear, you might see how Jehovah God placed a front door as well as a back door on the thousand year millennial day. By the time we’re done, you have a good idea of what I believe and why I believe it. You might sometimes have other ideas.
Some people do. I don’t think anybody here would. But you have a right to believe what you want to according to your conscience. But the interest of come, let us reason together. Please try to take an objective look at the Scriptures presented and.
And how they all add up. There might be perhaps some things here that you may never have yet considered. Possibly actually one particularly serious matter that you may not have even thought of before.
Notice also that there will be no reprint references cited in this discourse. Now, I have nothing against the reprints. I use them a lot. I’ll use it tomorrow. But some brethren play the reprint game.
Have you ever noticed that on areas you know, like restitution or millennium or whatever, some people style it that. But I’m going to give you mainly scriptures and a few volume citations, but no reprints. Finally, let’s show the Lord that we can love one another as brethren and give each other latitude for growth and the deep things of God. But I know we don’t want to compromise on things that we believe, but I think the Lord is looking for us to be very firm in our beliefs and yet have a spirit of love and Christian goodwill towards our brethren. Also, because of the large assignment given, I’ll have to talk a little bit fast.
So hang on tight and remove any distractions that might be possible around you. But before we go on, you may wish again, if you haven’t already, I put this in here, even though I mentioned a lot is download some people come in later, download those chat handout charts that might help you in this presentation to follow along. So in the interest of time, we’re going to turn to our benchmark scripture, as you know, in Acts 3, 1921, and I submit that this is the only scripture in the Bible that specifically states when Jesus would return, even though we have other corroborative scriptural evidence like in the 1335 days of Daniel, Daniel 12. So how important is this scripture?
Think about that. Pretty important, isn’t it? I mean, if you were to present this to somebody you know, a relative or you know, somebody you know coming from the outside somewhere. You know, we’re all familiar with these other corroborative evidences, but you know, this one is really to me, it cements this period of time of our Lord’s return. So how important is this scripture?
It’s. It’s pretty important, right? Listen carefully. You know the scripture well. Acts 3, 19:21 Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you, whom the heavens must receive.
Now here’s the time link until when the times of restitution of all things which God has spoken by the mouth of of all his holy prophets since the world began. So when restitution comes, Christ comes identifying the times of restitution. The great jubilees anotype will be our main focus to prove as A signpost that Christ has indeed returned. However, other important doctrines are attached to this important type. No doubt many have already seen the inseparable linking of the second Presence to the times of restitution here in the Scripture.
So to repeat, if the times of restitution have begun, then what? Then Christ has returned. Right? So let’s prove restitution.
If we can prove that the times of restitution have begun, then we can also prove that Christ has returned. As we say, they are absolutely, inseparably linked together in this Acts 3 text. It is my belief that you cannot separate them without changing the true and intended meaning of these scriptures in Acts 3:19 21. As you may know, restitution can also be translated restoration, as you can see in the New American Standard Bible and at least 10 other translations of the Bible. So let’s keep the thought of restoration in mind as we journey through this discourse.
The idea of reconstruction and reestablishment is also akin to this word restitution. If you ask your cell phone for a definition of restitution, it might come back with something like this. The restoration of something lost or something to its proper owner. Noah Webster would define it the act of returning or restoring the world or person what has been lost or taken away. A former.
A rather return to a former condition or situation. The restoration of something to its original state. So Webster has a thought of a return to a former condition or situation. Right. Let’s see how some of these definitions might work.
Did the nation of Israel lose the land promised by God sometime in the past? Yes, of course. Undoubtedly you’ve noticed Israel has begun to have its promised Land restored to its former condition to some extent. Right? Have you noticed a re establishment, an expanding of Israel’s borders lately?
Of course I have. The restoration of Israel’s land has begun. Are you aware that Israel has even had a historic capital of Jerusalem recognized by one of the great nations of earth? I’m sure you have. Okay, so then, Israel, after 26 centuries, is having its land returned or restored, even in part?
I believe that’s a yes. Right? It’s a process that has begun.
Yes. Daniel’s people, Israel, are being delivered or restored back to their promised land. Daniel 12:1, and the land itself is being restored to its original condition. Truly, a modern miracle of our day is a restitution of Israel’s promised land.
A huge sign of the invisible return of Christ Israel, delivered by Michael, himself, a great prince, the right hand of Jehovah. Psalms 98:1 and Daniel 12:1 and Israel has even become a nation since 1948, and Jerusalem is being recognized by countries like ours as being Israel’s true capital. Yes, brethren, the process of Israel’s land restoration, I believe, has truly begun, and their true king has returned invisibly winning all their conventional wars since the end of the gentile times in 1914. But let’s now take a look briefly at the Mosaic Law feature of the Jewish Jubilee, picturing and proving the nature and timing of the times of restitution in our Lord’s return.
There are two aspects of the Jubilee to prove this, the prophetic and the law aspect. Let’s look at something very serious, sobering and insightful that our Master Christ Jesus gave us in Matthew 5:18. Please do me a favor and quickly turn to this scripture in your Bible or electronic device. Matthew 5:18. I’ll wait.
This first consideration will be about the shadow of the Law aspect. Okay? Which foretold of a shadow of good things to come. Hebrews 10:1. Shadows are a special kind of type.
All shadows are types, but not all types are shadows. The way we look at it more on this later. What Jesus said in Matthew 5:18 was very it has very great implications. You cannot take it lightly. Our beloved Master Jesus made a profound statement here in Matthew 5:18.
Now listen, for verily I say unto you, our Master said, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law notice till all be fulfilled. In other words, until the antitype commits. That’s the idea in the Hebrew. So what was Jesus saying to us? He was teaching us that every ceremonial type of the Mosaic Law must have a fulfillment like the Passover.
Right? We know from the scriptures like Hebrews 10:1 and in chapter 8, verse 5, that the law was a shadow of good things to come. Hebrews 10:1 also right. Notice the first part of that scripture. The Passover, the atonement day and the Jubilee were chief features of the law.
Again, for the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never, with those sacrifices which they offered year by year, continually make the comers there unto perfect. We know from First Corinthians 10:11, from the Rotherham version, that these things were for types or in samples, right? For our admonition and understanding of God’s will and his purpose. God went to great lengths to make sure that these types were kept intact, to teach us very important lessons for our spiritual edification and faith fortification. Jesus said every type of the Law must have a fulfillment.
As for example, the type of the paschal lamb which we mentioned, which we review every memorial season, like this season, Right. Don’t we all recognize that the paschal lamb was slain, roasted and eaten on the 14th day of NICEN by the Jews of old? And did this happen over and over again? Right. Celebrated by the Jews every year on its what, anniversary?
Until when? Until the real paschal lamb came along. Right. The reality or anatypical paschal lamb, Christ Jesus, even John the Baptist said, behold the Lamb of God, and we believe Jesus died on the 14th of Nice.
And as a fulfillment of that type. Now, once again, Jesus said in Matthew 5:18, for verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. Now when Jesus uses this word, fulfilled in Matthew 5:18, it means to become, to come into being. It’s like when you had your graduation, remember commencement, and you kind of came into being into the adult world and a future time frame begins for you. That’s the idea again.
Till all be fulfilled. Till all come into being. A commencement. So therefore the jubilee or any minutia of the law must come into being to become a reality. At some point, nothing of the law’s typical features could be left unfulfilled.
Nothing. Jesus himself said so, and remember, Jesus said that he came to what? Fulfill the law? Like the Passover repeated over and over again, Right.
In yearly cycles until Jesus, the real, the reality, replaced it. Right. So too the jubilee cycles would continue and the land would rest in those cycles as God foredained, even though the Jews themselves were not celebrating after 626 BC 626, by the way, was the pivotal fulcrum, the exact middle of the 7,000 year creative day. Remember, as it went through in the beginning in Genesis 1, and there was an evening and morning. Right.
Well, we take the 7,000 years and I think we have a diagram of this. We have the 7,000 years, remember? We have that. Those as creative days, and if you go the evening halfway through, and then you go the morning, right?
Because everything was in the evening, and in the morning, guess what that pivotal point is where the whole thing balances. It’s 626 B.C. what do you think, a coincidence? I don’t think so.
So too the type ceases when replaced by the reality of its commencement. Again, so too the type ceases when replaced by the reality of its commitment. So too do the shadowy cycles of the jubilee type continue until their Fulfillment. Now keep in mind that you do the jubilee itself. Notice.
And its cycles. Let me repeat that, and its cycles are both types. Listen now, this is serious. If the jubilee type itself ended in 626bc stopped without something continuing, you have a huge problem.
You must either have the reality or something continues in the type. You can’t just put push it aside. That would do an incredible injustice to our Master Jesus. Right. In what he said in Matthew 5:18.
The Jubilee type, which we read about in Leviticus 25, was one of the chief features of the law, wasn’t it a time of restoration of the land and possessions and families that was prefigured in this important type. So we answer, it’s cycles. Jehovah’s time clock are actually a divine time clock. That’s right. That God had designed to point to something wonderful that would actually happen to the whole world and not just the typical people of Israel.
His time clock did not stop ticking when the Jubilee stopped being celebrated in 626 BC. It’s a beautiful time clock that points us to a wonderful time in its anatypical fulfillment, both as a great Jubilee and as a Grand Jubilee. It’s a time clock that locks the date for Christ’s return and the times of restitution or restoration of all things in what we might call the front door of the millennial age, and also the completed restoration beginning the ages to come at the back door of the millennial or messianic age. A lot of people don’t talk about the 2874 day too much. The 50th thousandth year.
Right. Or Grand Jubilee. So God gave us a front door and a back door, a Great Jubilee and a Grand Jubilee. Right. A great Jubilee when the earth’s restorer returns in 1874.
And a back door when we, when we believe this thousand years is completed in 2074. Now, I’m sure most all of you have read about the jubilee in Leviticus 25. You know, there’s a, a good chapter on that in your second volume. Right. What happened in the Jubilee year?
I’ll just read some of the highlights of this in a moment, but keep in mind the 50th year jubilation. Okay. Note 2874 marks the beginning of the 50th thousand year, beginning the ages to come. So from 1575, when Israel entered the land, forward. Right.
You know, you can start doing these calculations, but in reality. Well, we’re going to get into this. If you start from 6:26, and you go forward, and because we got to cross over a BCAD date line, it gets kind of tricky. But we’ll talk about this more.
The 70 cycles of 50. Okay, it’s really intriguing. God has to. But God has to have the inspection of the little season first. Like 2074, we believe from Revelation 20, right.
When Christ turns over the kingdom of the Father from First Corinthians 15, right. God’s got to have an inspection to see how the mediator did how well they did their job, because people have to be able to pass that testing right at the end of the 2874 period before anybody can proceed further into that time when the mediator steps out of the way. So we believe that this will be a time of a jubilee of Jubilees in 2874, the Grand Jubilee. Now let’s go back to Leviticus 25. I hope this is getting more and more clear, but in the seventh year, and I’m quoting from Leviticus 25 shall be a sabbath of rest notice unto the land.
A sabbath for the Lord. Land is really important and it goes on later. For it is a year. Listen now, a year of rest unto what the land and the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you. Leviticus 23:8 and thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years under these seven times seven years.
And the presence of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee 40 and nine years. Now please notice the divine times principle that God introduced here of squaring the years 7 times 7. A reasonable apparent divine principle of scoring given by Jehovah. It seems reasonable to me. But please note the scoring principle has more to do with the law feature of methodology, the law feature of the jubilee calculations.
Now I also believe that the seven day week of Leviticus 23:3, our seven day week is also a type to show how we have a sabbath of rest on the seventh day. Second Peter 3, 8 and 10, Matthew 24 and 20. So I think that seventh day points to the thousandth year day, right?
All right, and you know that James 4 tells us that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, right? He’s the Lord of the Sabbath. So that connects also Jesus declares that himself in Matthew 12:8. Again, I believe that if Jesus has returned, then the thousand year Sabbath day is here also.
That’s my persuasion. If a thousand year Sabbath day, the seventh day is here. So has Jesus returned. Incidentally, relating to our restitution of the earth on only one of many points did you know that since the 1870s, if you define earth productivity. Earth productivity as calories produced per acre.
The earth’s soil is roughly 300 to 500% more productive today than it was in the 1870s. Just a little extra there since the return of our Lord. Another coincidence. Let alone the sweat of the face. That’s another thing to think about.
Diminishing quite considerably, right? My grandmother used to tell me she was born in 1888, my grandfather in 1884, that she used to go into town in Horace and Buggy. Now. Things have really changed since then. Right?
Now let’s talk about jubilee rights and liberties. Sometimes, brethren, don’t mention it. But it’s important. Let’s read Leviticus 25. 9.
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the 10th day of the seventh month in the day of atonement shall you make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. Compare the word shout here in the Greek in 1st Thessalonians 4, 16. Okay, and ye shall listen. Now listen.
Hallow the 50th year. The 50th year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land, unto all the inhabitants thereof. It shall be a jubilee unto you, and notice this, brethren.
Ye shall return every man unto what his possession. Every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubilee shall that 50th year be unto you. For it is the jubilee, it shall be holy unto you.
Ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. Notice again, in the year of this jubilee, you shall return every man unto his possession. That’s key. I suggest your possessions are something you own right and have a right to. In this country we say you possess certain inalienable rights, don’t we?
So you possess rights. Here in Leviticus 25, it says. Sorry, I gotta move something around here. It says that ye should return every man unto his possession, doesn’t it? I believe a return of rights is a part of the restitution process.
Verses 10, 13 and 41. So to me I see a return anatypically beginning about the time of our return of Our Lord in 1874. Rights due to begin to mankind in some way to minority groups as well as land rights to Israel. Right after what, 26 centuries? This is exactly what I saw as I studied history from the time.
From that time period on, a returned Lord, many rights and liberties have begun returning to many people, have they not? A door of hope opened for Israel with our Lord’s return in the city of Petitikava in Israel. Meaning? A meaning a door of hope. As you know, which was established in 1878, the the end of that Jewish missionary that brother Russell was trying to show us, you know, from Isaiah 40 and in the second volume I understand it was the first piece of property that Israel owned for over.
It was either 24 or 26 centuries. That’s significant. Restoration of their God given land rights was due to begin in 1878. Another confirmation of our chronology, right? And again, Isaiah 40, verse 2 and Ezekiel 37.
Door of Hope was like a front door in a way to Israel’s rebirth as a nation. Israel’s restoration or restitution also was inseparably linked with the return of earth’s and Israel’s restorer. Who is that? Christ Jesus, our king. Christ Jesus, Israel’s king as well, Earth’s new king, I believe Cain in 1874.
If you question that, prove it by scripture. Examine Luke 19:15. Write that down. Luke 19:15 and write down Matthew 13:41. If you look at Matthew 13:41, you’ll notice something really interesting.
Doesn’t matter what any other elder says, even beyond Brother Russell. This is the Scriptures, right? And that’s. That’s where the rubber hits the road, right? Matthew 13:41.
And you will see that if you read Both from Matthew 13:41 and Luke 19:15 that when Jesus returned, he returned with a kingdom, right? Read it, and a kingdom has a king, doesn’t it? And a king reigns in some capacity, doesn’t he? Read it yourself.
Jesus has been king of the earth since he returned in 1874. At least that’s the way I read it. Read it yourself and see. He comes back with a kingdom. If he comes back with a kingdom, He’s a king, right?
Okay, we’ll review these Scriptures soon. Now again, why is this jubilee feature of the law such a key understanding for the new creation? We believe this beautiful feature of the law in Leviticus 25 was given to not only tell us when Christ had returned, namely 1874, but to foreshadow the eventual full recovery of mankind from the adamic fall by 2874, including the first phase of rights and liberties lost since the Adamic fall. Now notice this similarity in sequence. If you will listen.
Now, Adam and Eve first lost certain rights and liberties, correct? I mean, they didn’t lose life right away, did they? They first lost rights and liberties and then they lost their lives. So too first mankind gains back certain rights and liberties and then they gain back their lives. Interesting, isn’t it?
Two phases, but not fully in a total global Sense, not fully in a total global sense, until 2874 in the Grand Jubilee that goes along with, I think, Revelation 21:4. We believe, as said earlier, there is a restitution. Listen now carefully. There’s a restitution of the earth phase, and then there’s a restitution of the world phase, or a human restitution, the awakening from the dead, when the virtuous blood of Jesus will be applied on behalf of Adam to the benefit of the human race. Human restitution.
Restitution of the world has not yet begun, brothers. What did Brother Larry say? No, listen, only restitution of the earth. So we could say that restitution has begun in some ways and hasn’t begun in other ways, depending on what phase or times of restitution you’re referring to. Some dear brethren only are looking at the human phase of resurrection or restitution of mankind, yet future, saying the restitution of the world is still future, where probably many of us, maybe all of us like myself, refer to the restitution of the earth that’s already beginning and has begun since 1874, with rights and liberties returning more and more.
And Israel’s land rights, which we can see with our own eyes and watch on the news today, returning to them presently, more and more still questioning this restitution of the earth versus restitution of the world. Listen, one week before the pastor died, in Harvest Gleanings, Volume 3, some of you know this, but if you don’t. Harvest Gleanings, Volume 3, Page 864 and 865, Brother Russell clarifies this. One week before he died, okay, that there’s a restitution of the earth and a restitution of the world. Okay.
Answers a lot of questions. Read it yourself. Page 864, volume three, harvest cleanings. You’ll find it extremely interesting. So Jesus returned in 1874 and earthly restitution began, but restitution of the world did not and will not until the application of the ransom merit.
It might be new to you, but read what Brother Russell said one week before he died. So we believe the first phase of his progressive kingdom, stages of inauguration, began in the time of 1874, and the return king, our return king, selected a messenger to declare this to the church on his behalf and give them give us meat in due season. Matthew 24:45, as you’re familiar in Revelation 11:15. Now this last scripture, Revelation 11:15, when you read it right, I believe it says that this messenger will declare this message of Christ reign and the nations will be angry during this time.
Verse 18, the beginning of his reign will not be peaceful. The way I read it. Remember though, when you read it, all things are what of the Father and by the Son. I think that’s First Corinthians 8, 6. Right.
Jesus is the right hand of Jehovah. Check that out. I think that’s Psalms 98:1. Check it out. He’s the right arm of Jehovah.
So everything’s of the Father and by the Son. The beginning of his reign will not be peaceful. Right? It won’t be peaceful, and I believe that’s what we see outside.
Remember all things, brother of the Father and by the Son. I believe it’s a time of clouds and darkness when Christ as the right arm of Jehovah will reign and tearing down the nations which we see going on. They’re shaking. Can you feel it? Which it sure looks like what’s going on today.
But again, his reign. Listen carefully. Has various stages of inauguration. Read that. I think it’s in the third volume forward at the very end.
Brother Russell talks about various stages of inauguration. So you have to clarify yourself sometimes when you’re talking with brethren. Well, what do you mean by restitution? Restitution of the earth or of the world? Right.
Or rain? What do you mean? The glorious rain? Or you know, like get. Ask questions before you kind of jump right in there.
Right. We believe both the chronological aspects of the Jubilee as well as the character features of the Jubilee type have both reached their fulfillment time of the beginning, their anatypical reality. I submit that we have started to see evidences of this anatypical fulfillment since October of 1874, when our Lord returned. Today we are primarily summarizing the chronological features and some of the character aspects of Jubilees type and, and anatite.
We also believe, as we said, there are various times or phases of restitution, namely, as we said, restitution of the earth as well as restitution of the world. I believe that most brethren actually agree on this last statement and concept that human restitution or restitution of the world is still future when properly understood. Well, like when you read page 864 in that volume three. Now let me also remind you that there are actually two methods of demonstrating the chronological aspects of the Jubilee. One is the law feature, as we mentioned, and the other is the prophetic feature.
Let us proceed to very briefly explain the law feature. First, taking what we believe is a divine method of scoring presented to us in Leviticus 25, namely the example of squaring seven times seven days equaling 49 days and the 50th day being Pentecost, right? Then the seven times seven years equaling 49 years and then the 50th year being the Jubilee year. We follow the same principle when calculating the grand cycle of jubilee that continues from the last typical Jubilee observed by Israel in the pivotal year of 626 BC, namely squaring 50 times 50, which logically appears to be the divine methodology to bring us to the front door of of Christ’s return in 1874 and what we believe is a thousand year millennium beginning now. I know some brethren have difficulty with that, but this is what I believe and this is why I believe it.
Okay? Recall that Jesus stated in most emphatic terms that it would be easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one jot or tittle of the law to fail in fulfillment. Now, if the jubilee reality or anatype doesn’t commence. Stay with me on this. If the jubilee reality or anotype doesn’t commence in some way when the typical Jubilees cease to be celebrated like in 626 BC, then Jesus was wrong or didn’t tell the truth in Matthew 5:18.
That’s serious. Now, I don’t like people saying or even insinuating that about my master, do you? Of course not. He never contradicted himself and he always told the truth. Now, just like the Passover was observed in its yearly cycles until the reality replaced it, namely Jesus himself, our Passover lamb, so too, even though Israel could no longer observe the Jubilee celebration when in Babylonian captivity, Nimbin Knesser wasn’t going to allow him do that.
That law feature would have failed in fulfillment unless one grand cycle of 50 times 50 continued from that last typical observance in 626 BC before the captivity. Okay, how else would you solve the problem? And you must answer the problem. That type can’t cease until it’s been fulfilled. Right?
That’s what Jesus said. So we use what we believe is the divine squaring principle and continue the remaining divine cycles of 50 years from that point, which would be 50 times 50 or 2500 years of one grand cycle leading to the great antitype Earth’s Jubilee with the return of Our Lord in 1874. Check it out, volume two, page 186 and seven, some 2500 years forward from 626. Or you can subtract 2500 minus 626 do that. Recalculations.
You got 50 times 50, right. Equals 2500 minus 626 from the last typical Jubilee, and you, you see what you come out with. All right, And I imagine you’re going to come out with 1874 like I did. However, that was only the Great Jubilee in 1874 and not the Grand Jubilee of 2874.
Now, please note the difference here, and the way to solve the puzzle of God’s divine intention was carefully tucked away in one single scripture. How about that? We’ll cover more in this real soon. Now, I think the prophetic view of jubilee is even more, it’s even a more solid case to me, the prophetic view than the law feature.
Oh boy, I won’t get in trouble for saying that. But it’s, it’s even more solid, which is based, you know, on a logical assumption in the law feature of squaring. The prophetic view is based on a prophecy because of Jeremiah’s prophecy in Jeremiah 25:7 12 and Jeremiah 29:10, where Jeremiah prophesied about the seventy year desolation of the land. This is one of the best kept secrets of the bible, brethren. Jeremiah 25:9.
Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the Lord, and Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against the land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all the nations round about, and will utterly destroy them and make them an astonishment and a hissing and a perpetual desolation. Jeremiah 25:11, and this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon. Now notice, 70 years. Now, for me, this prophetic view using the 70 year desolation of the land again is the very best chronological proof there is.
To prove the 1874 date, we will attempt to prove why. Okay, and this is where your, your chart in front of you will help align. I don’t have time to pull it up right now. I’m going to run out of time. The key here, now listen carefully, is in 2nd Chronicles 36:21.
Write that down. 2nd Chronicles 36:21. This is one of the best kept secrets in the whole Bible. I’m not even positive Jesus understood it, because real quick, if he did and could put it together and realize that the way this is going to come out, as you’re going to see, it would end up in 2874, and then he’d subtract a thousand years of a thousand year reign and he’d know the time of his return, and he said, no man knoweth the day nor the hour, neither the Son of man knoweth.
Right? So this might have been something that the Lord hid from you, just like maybe he did in the way that he was going to die for, you know, his reasons. God had directed Israel to begin celebrating the jubilee system explained in Leviticus 25. As soon as they entered the land, Israel observed the various Sabbaths of 7 times 7 is directed, including the 50th Jubilee. Jubilee, 50th year following the 19 cycles of 50.
Even if they celebrated these in a haphazard way. So when they entered the land, they celebrated these 50 year cycles kind of in a haphazard, if at all, you know, 19 cycles, right? And God was real upset with him for that. If they celebrated these in a, in a haphazard way, it would have been something, right? But God was angry when Israel’s waywardness in following the direction of this jubilee system, he, he initiated, he allowed Babylon to conquer Israel.
And for 70 years the prophecy of Jeremiah was fulfilled. After Zedekiah was, was dethroned in 606 BC 606 time period. Can’t get my lips moving fast enough. God basically said, if you’re not going to do these jubilees properly, then I will do them for you by making your land rest now, brother. Wes Kramer gave an excellent talk.
Maybe you heard it called desolation this day. Check it out. Desolation this day. I don’t have time to get into it. He did an excellent job.
Desolation this day. So what secret was tucked away here? I ask you now again, listen carefully. Don’t let any distractions get in your way. Every One of those 70 years of desolation, everyone represented a 50 year Jubilee that should have been celebrated as directed.
So in brief, 70 years times 50 years in each one of those represented in each one of those 70 years, that is. Or 3,500 years, right? 70 times 50 is 3,500 years total from, if you take, if you take from 626Bc find, see where you’re going to end up. Okay, 3,500 years from the start of the last typical Jubilee in 626, see where you end up going forward, it brings you to 2874. Or take 20, take 3500, subtract 2874 and see where you end up either way.
And 2874 brings us, dear brother, into the back door. What I call the back door. Of this thousand year day and the beginning of the 50th 1000 year Grand Jubilee, 2nd Chronicles 36:21 is powerful. It says to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah until notice the land. The land had enjoyed her sabbaths for as long as she laid desolate.
She kept sabbath God was keeping those sabbaths that she wouldn’t during those that period of time to fulfill three score and 10 years. So here’s the secret, the secret of Jehovah’s divine intention of how long the the jubilees were intended to go before you come to the grand jubilee of the 50th,000th year and the beginning of mankind’s completed restitution and the ages to come. Ephesians 2:7, the back door, if you will, of the millennial age. Just like you had a 50th year celebration in the Jubilee, you also have 49,000 years of the last creative day or or seven 7,000 year creative days to 2874 and then the 50th,000th year grand anatypical jubilee of jubilees. Just like you had the 50th year Jubilee type celebration, Brother.
A lot of over the years brother had a lot of problems with his thousand years. But to me, if they would have just done this with these calculations and instead of all these, you know, things that they did otherwise, just said, hey, how about we just subtract a thousand from 2074, what do you get? 1874. Oh, that must be the beginning of his reign because he doesn’t go beyond 2874, right? It just seems simple to me.
But I know a lot of brethren, you know, have struggles with it. This fits together, brother, in such an amazing way, doesn’t it? I wonder if there will be a grand jubilee celebration when the world is completely restored to God in perfection in 2874. All this time one of the best kept secrets was tucked away in this 21st verse of 2nd Chronicles 36:17 to 21. You realize that this is where Zedekiah, the last king of Israel had conquered.
Remember in 606 Israel and Israel would never celebrate jubilees like they had last done in the year 626. Because God had taken away captivity. He really locked in the date for us, didn’t he? Please look at your chart on this in that you picked up on chat and remember 6:26 is the midpoint of the 7,000 year creative day. This is beautiful brethren.
The whole 7,000 year creative day. Rest on that fulcrum of that date of the last typical jubilee year. Boy, don’t mess with the chronology. This, this works out too wonderfully. 3,500 years of the evening and 3,500 years of the morning of the creative day.
Just like every day was in Genesis chapter one with the 626 date smack dab in the middle. No coincidence to me the desolation of the land for 70 years prophesied by Jeremiah was for the representative 70 Jubilee years that were intended but not observed very well by Israel to God’s complete satisfaction or observed at all. However, that that does become for us the divine key to unlock the divine intentions as to how many jubilee year cycles were intended to the overall typical picture leading to the Grand Jubilee, all of God’s intentions ultimately become realities, don’t they? Just as sure as the earth abideth forever. Isaiah 55:11.
Next area going on to your chart, your main chart. Recall that Israel only observed 19 of these these jubilee years from the entering of the land. So look for E on your chart. Okay? E on Your chart, namely 1575 BC God was upset with Israel for not fully complying with his directives in this type and he lowered the divine hammer on her with a 70 year period of Babylonian captivity.
Jeremiah 25:8, 11. So make sure you understand this important point to the puzzle. How do we know when the last observance of the jubilee year was? Well again the king of Babylon was not about to let Israel celebrate her jubilees in the land, was he? And the next 50th year cycle would have fallen during or within that 70 year periods of captivity in Babylon.
So look at B on your chart, B on your chart and then go back. So the majesty of God’s divine mind locked in for us, the starting date. See the arrow going from, you know, back from B to A, right? And, and by then going back to the previous and last jubilee observed, namely the well Fortified date of 626B.C.
Depending on what calendar you use, Gregorian or or the Jewish one, that precise midpoint of the 7,000 year creative day. Now if you take the squaring principle mentioned earlier, the 50 times 50 forward from 626, namely 626 plus 250050 times 50, you come to 1874, the front door of earth’s great jubilee and Christ return as restore of the earth. But now again, if you take the 70 times 50, the full span of the 3500 years shown in Israel’s land desolation from 626 BC forward, you come to to the end, or what I would call the back door of the seventh creative day, or 2874, the wonderful Grand Jubilee, which begins the 50th,000th year from Earth’s history, corresponding to Earth’s 50th year of Jubilee and 2874 and also Christ thousand year day. It’s simple subtraction. So if you want to know when the beginning of the thousand year millennium of Christ’s reign begins, you simply have to go to its back door of 2874 and then subtract a thousand to get 1874.
Since Christ’s reign is a thousand years and the end of his reign is 2874, then the beginning of his reign must be 1874 a thousand years earlier, right? Consequently, by this jubilee type, Jehovah shows the new creation of the harvest of the gospel age exactly when his son returns, namely 1874, in the beginning and end, ending of the millennium, its front and its back door. Check out a great talk by a well respected speaker, Carl Hagensenk, the late brother Carl, precious brother Carl. He gave and called the Jubilee a dual type some 60 years ago. The Jubilee a dual type.
You might have given like four or five of them, but the one I listened to was really good on this as well as pages 50 and 51 which corresponded is 1551 in the sixth volume. Brilliant discourse on this, and just like it took the full year for Israelites to contend and arbitrate over the rights and possessions that they had coming back to them, so too it will possibly take the full thousand years of Christ’s millennial reign to bring back all the rights and liberties that God will justly allow them, and we already see the beginning stages of that. You see, it’s actually, in my opinion, Christ’s thousand year reign.
It’s his thousand year reign. The church just reigns with him as they’re changed during, as the Moffat says, during his reign, and the way I see it, none of us actually get a full thousand years, even though I know many dear brethren believe that. So, you know, somebody wants to throw a tomato at me, go ahead. But the way I look at it, you know, it’s his reign, we’re reigning with him.
Right? And if you want more in that later, I’ll be happy to share it. We’ll save that for another day. We simply wish to prove that Christ has returned, and it is our hope that man will come to a full standing, a full resurrection, back to the sonship and actual perfection that Adam had and more by 2874 mankind fully restored.
What a vision. What a grand jubilee that will be after 28:74, Revelation 21:1 4 and Ephesians 2:7. Yes, God has also begun to set the stage for the kingdom by the beginning of the restoration of the land of Israel. This is a major sign of the beginning of the restitution of Christ’s return, right Israel’s return to their promised land rights. It’s a process and we can see it already beginning.
I believe that these two major events are inseparably linked together Restitution and Christ Return. Our prayer is that we have proven the value and reasoning of this important Bible text of Acts 3:21 and the linking methodology attached for we believe it is the best scripture in the Bible that directly tells us just when Christ returned because it’s inseparably linked or attached to this beautiful jubilee type which Jesus validated the importance of in Matthew 5:18 Dear friends, restoration didn’t all happen in the first month or two of that 50th Jubilee. It probably, as we said, took the full year to settle all the accounts, I would imagine. Volume three, Forward page iii. So too Israel doesn’t have its full land rights back, women don’t have their full rights back, blacks don’t have their full rights back, and on and on.
It’s a process, dear friends, but you don’t have to look too hard to see its accelerating evidences, do you? Signposts of Christ’s second presence added to the other ones from part one of this three part series. Ask me for a handout if you’d like or download it. In closing then, and I appreciate the extra time, dear Chairman, in closing, in Leviticus 25. 9 where it says to cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound is the word shofar.
And in the Septuagint Bible, one of the oldest right back from the second or third century in the Septuagint Bible in 1st Thessalonians 4:16 speaking about Christ’s second presence, his return with the trump of God. This is a really important scripture, I understand it is the same Greek word equivalent to shofar in the Leviticus 25. 9 trumpet and it means a clamoring for rights and liberties. Anyone who seriously studies this subject will find that since 1874 there has been an unprecedented clamoring for rights and liberties in the world like never before. We’ve seen much of it in our lifetime, right?
Ask several of our 100 year old brethren if you wish, and Israel is definitely having an increasing restoration to her promised land and expanding their borders as it says in Micah. Wouldn’t you agree dear brethren? Please don’t let anybody ever take away this beautiful Jubilee chronology from you, no matter how good intentioned they are. It all adds up and puts so many things into perspective for us, substantiating our most holy faith.
Study and hold fast to this wonderful shadowy doctrine of the Jubilee opened up to us by our returned Lord to show us just where we are in the stream of time through our return Lord’s authorized wise and faithful servant, our dear brother Russell. No other elders are authorized today as one of the seven messengers to the Church were would you agree? And don’t forget to read page 1551 in the sixth volume and maybe listen to that talk by Carl Hagensek on dual types of the Jubilee almost 60 years later. Beloved brethren saints of the new creation, in closing, the truth is everything to live for and it’s everything to die for. But always remember in John 4:24 we worship God both in spirit and in truth, including the Spirit of love which we pray.
