The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

Then God caused air to go into Adam's nostrils, and he was alive. Adam was not given a soul; he became a living soul. Ezekiel 18:4
