At the close of each year, and crowning it, let us consider God's goodness - how loving, kind, generous, and sympathetic he has been. Let us also look back to see what progress we have made in love, in knowledge, in developing a Christlike character, and in serving our Heavenly Father. We can then resolve, with the LORD'S help, to do still better in the New Year! Psalms 104:24 Dear LORD: The first thing I like to think of in the morning is thanking you for watching over me, and for caring, even when I don't ask. Each day I will try to be honest with you, and I will try, with your help, to obey your will, and as much as possible, avoid being worldly. I will try to be myself in front of others, attempt to be unselfish, and think before I speak. I will try to apply these things to my life, no matter what. Knowing that you are guiding and caring for me, I will not be discouraged with the obstacles of life. I will not complain about what you allow, because you know what is best for me. Amen.
