Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work. (Titus 3:1)
Unless the laws of our government are against the laws of God, we are to obey them. As Christians we are not to take part in civil disobedience or rioting, but are to go quietly about the work God has given us to do: witnessing to his truth and making over our lives to be as nearly like Jesus as possible. Mark 12:17
