Whither thou goest, I will go. Ruth 1:16

Ruth was from Moab, where they worshiped idols, while her mother-in-law, Naomi, was a Judean who worshiped the true God. When their husbands died, Ruth's decision to accept Naomi's God and to go to Judea with her, was so positive and permanent it becomes an example of those who decide to follow Christ. God blessed her faithfulness, and she became great-grandmother to King David, an ancestor of Jesus. Acts 21:13
