Children's Daily Manna - March 29
What shall be the signs of thy coming [presence] and of the end of the world (age)? Matthew 24:3
The word translated coming, in this verse, is the Greek word parousia, which means 'presence'. So, the question is, What would be the sign of the Lord's presence? This indicates that it will not be clear to everyone that he has returned, because they will need signs to know for certain. Jesus goes on in this chapter to tell what these many signs are. Luke 21:7
