Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. John 20:29

It was very important that the disciples believe Jesus had been raised from the dead, and so Jesus made his resurrection known. Those disciples who had much faith recognized him by his tone of voice, or his manner of breaking bread. But he made certain those with less faith would also be convinced he was alive. Thomas became a firm believer when he saw Jesus as he appeared at his crucifixion. 1 Peter 1:8
