Practicing homosexuality is forbidden in the Bible. (Leviticus 20:13)  Our hearts go out to those struggling with these feelings. Those dear ones will need to lead a celibate life. (Please recognize: many heterosexuals are also celibate. Celibacy is practiced for a variety of different reasons.)

Does celibacy mean a person will always be lonely and sad? No. People can live full and meaningful lives without being in a sexual relationship. Close, supportive relationships are important, but homosexual intimacy would not be permitted.

"Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God," 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 (NLT).

All of us struggle with many different kinds of unholy feelings. ?Jealousy, hatred, pride, and arrogance are sinful thoughts/feelings that we have all experienced. What does the Bible teach about managing any sin? We are to confess our sins and ask forgiveness through Jesus's blood. 1 John 1:7, 9 (CSB), 7"… the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. … 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Then we are to strive to live holy lives. 1 Peter 1:13-16 (NKJV), 13 "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, . . .  as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,  because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy.”
