John 19:41, 42, “Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid…they laid Jesus there.” Today this tomb is called the Garden Tomb and it can be visited. It is located in Jerusalem in Israel.
However, if you are looking for the body of the man Jesus, His body is no longer there! Jesus’ corpse laid in the tomb for parts of three days, but then God resurrected His Son! Matthew 28:5,6, “But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.’ ” Yes, the spot where Jesus had been laid was empty.
The Bible doesn’t say what God Jehovah did with Jesus’ earthly body, but we do know that when God resurrected Jesus, He gave His Son a divine, spirit body. That new body is glorious, incorruptible, powerful, and immortal. (See 1 Corinthians 15:41-44, 54.)
