There is nothing anywhere in the Bible that gives a specific length of how long a man’s hair should be. In 1 Corinthians 11:14, Paul states “Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him…” However, he is comparing a man’s hair to that of a woman because it is to be a “covering” of her head; a covering that men are not to have. Historically, women have had much longer hair than men. With that being the case, Paul is most likely speaking of extremely long hair. Much longer than a mini afro. What really matters is your attitude in all things. Have an attitude of humility. Ephesians 4:2 says, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” As long as you aren’t doing it to take away attention from God, something like a mini afro would not be inappropriate.
