Judas Iscariot is dead and in the grave. In Romans, we are told, “the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Thus, when Judas died as a sinner, he went into the grave and has remained there since.
The Bible tells us that when someone dies that they cease to exist “For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing…,for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave” (Ecclesiastes 9:5,10).
But Jesus tells us a “time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice. Those who did good things will come out into the resurrection of life, and those who did wicked things into the resurrection of judgment” (John 5:28-29). We believe Judas Iscariot will be in the resurrection of judgment.
