It is unclear which storm you are asking about. Let's talk about living through the final storms of Armageddon. Zephaniah 2:3 reads, "Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger." So, seeking righteousness and meekness is a safe course. Then in Isaiah 26:20, 21 we read, "Come my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity…" We enter into our chambers with God when we pray, trust, and obey His will. In Psalm 27:5, David says, "For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock."
However, God is always our refuge in all of life's storms. Psalm 91 holds many precious assurances: "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the deadly pestilence,…under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler." God is always close to His children.
