The Bible does not specifically give this information. However, for the natural man, God has associated Himself with a northerly direction.  Consider Psalm 75:6,7 , "Promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south, but God is the Judge. He putteth down one, and setteth up another." Following this reasoning, promotion would come from the north, from God.

The great Creator may also identify His residence in the direction of the Pleiades, particularly with Alcyone, the central star of this renowned group. Consider the question God asked Job, "Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?" – Job 38:31,32. The Pleiades is a northerly constellation. The reasoning based on these verses builds on the thought that once God determines a loving, just, wise course of action, nothing can bind the sweet influence of His holy Spirit. Thus, the northerly direction again may represent the residence of Jehovah, the place from which He governs the Universe.

We need to remember that these scriptures are highly symbolic. God and His heavenly family may well live in different dimensions from human beings. We always remember the concept, 'Where the scriptures are wide, we are wide. Where the scriptures are narrow, we are narrow." Since the Bible is not definitive about where God dwells, we should not be either.
