Many churches seem to focus on tithing, attendance numbers, beautiful buildings. Of course, we all know those things do not bring us closer to God. We need to feed on God’s word and then apply those truths to our lives.

In our non-demoninational group, we never tithe nor ask for donations. We don’t own a building; we rent space at local community/educational centers. We don’t have a paid ministry. Additionally, we have no formal membership. However, those who continue to worship with us do believe in the Bible as God’s word and in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus. We love and obey God, and believe God has planned for mankind’s spiritual and natural salvations from the foundation of the world. (We are redeemed “with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world…” 1 Peter 1:19, 20.)

Do you study the Bible independently? If so, then you might be blessed by going to our website: https://chicagobible.org  We post sermons, study books and booklets, articles, questions and answers. If you find the studies to be upbuilding and beneficial, please write back to us.

Fellowship with other consecrated Christians is very important. We are encouraged, comforted, and supported by our association together. Hebrews 10:25 (NIV), “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” If you might like to try meeting with us, there may be a group of Bible Students near your location. We also have online meetings. Our hearts’ desire is to glorify God in all that we think, say, and do.

Pray to God for guidance and embrace the promise: “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you…” James 4:8.
