2 Cor 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."
We know that faithful Christians will receive a divine body like our Lord’s in the resurrection. 1John 3:2 reads, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” “By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature.” (2Peter1:4) These are truly wonderful promises!
When will we receive our resurrection? John 5:28, 29, “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, into the resurrection of judgment.” Jesus awakens all the dead in the 1,000 Judgment Day. Every man, woman, and child who have ever lived will hear His voice and come forth. In the resurrection, there will be two classes of rewards. Those who have done good will receive the resurrection of life. Who did good? Only Christians. From God’s perspective our sins need to be forgiven through Jesus’ blood in order to do any good thing. Yes, faithful Christians will receive their resurrection reward in the same Judgment Day
