God and the angels do not participate in the Day of Judgment—they are not on trial. The fallen angels (demons) are being judged and their souls (both spiritual body as well as mind as described above) will be sentenced to destruction or life at the same time Satan is bound.
We know Jesus preached to the spirits in prison after his resurrection. Those spirits are the fallen angels who are bound in Tartarus (Jude 1:6; 2 Pet 2:4) and that they will be loosed in the Great Time of Trouble. The thought is that if they go on a rampage at that time that will seal their doom and those that refrain from sinning at this point are the ones who the glorified Bride of Christ along with her head Jesus will judge during the Day of Judgment, the Millennium. The final result is the same as with man—The soul that sinneth is shall die (Ez. 18:4, 20)

It is also at this time that the entire world of mankind will undergo judgment—a trial. Not all at once, it will start with those living and once they are completely dealt with the next wave of resurrection comes back and so on and so forth all the way back to Father Adam.

Joh 5:28  Marvel not at this: for the hour cometh, in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice, 29  and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.

The resurrection of life is for the faithful Christian, the resurrection of judgment is for the world of mankind.

The Day of Judgment is not 24 hours, but a thousand year long trial.

2 Pe 3:7-8  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  (8)  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
