I'm 62. I was saved in my twenties. Made a lot of mistakes and lived in and out of my Christian faith for many years. Now I'm anxious about completing my destiny that God had laid out for me. I've never been closer to Jesus than I am right now. God is the author and finisher of my faith. Will he finish what he started in me in this life or in heaven?

The Apostle Paul wrote, “If ye are Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise,” Galatians  Those who are begotten with the Holy Spirit are heirs of the Abrahamic promise: “…in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed,” Genesis 12:3. This teaches that there is the Abrahamic seed […]

What is the meaning of the cross?

The scriptures show three general meanings of the cross. The first is the literal cross where Christ was crucified. (John 19:17-31)

The second is an illustration of the Christian life – willing to do God’s will under whatever circumstances He may permit. “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let […]

The precious blood of Jesus, not only paid for our sins_ but also the breaking of generational curses. Why most of the pastor's keep on reminding us that we have generational curses , whereas Jesus has paid the depth?

The blood of Jesus pays for our sins. 1 Timothy 2:5,6, “…the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time.” This testimony has been delivered to those whom God has called to be part of the Church class. The rest of mankind will receive this testimony at […]

Can a person that has never heard the word of God be saved? Man on Island- tribes in the jungle?

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (I Timothy 2:3,4) These verses indicate that God has a far-reaching plan for the salvation of humanity. The center of this plan is the work of Christ […]

How do we eat God?

We cannot eat God, but we do symbolically eat the body and blood of Jesus during our celebration of the Memorial of Jesus' death.

"…The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, 'This is my body, which is for you; do this in […]

An acquaintance believes salvation is through belief in Jesus. But he also thinks a person will have a second opportunity to believe in heaven. He believes God wants to save everyone. I believe people must be saved now in order to go to heaven.

In Matthew 19:17-30, Jesus instructed that to be “saved” we need to give up our earthly possessions and follow Him.  Following Jesus requires the sacrifice not only of earthly things but of our wills to obey God’s will. A heavenly resurrection is a reward for obedience during this present, evil world. (Revelation 2:10.) “If we […]

If a Christian dies, has the person died because (1) he or she sinned or (2) it's God's will for that one to die?

1.  Does a person die for his or her sins?

No. 1 Corinthians 15:22, “For as in Adam all die…”

Christian or not, everyone dies. Christian or not, everyone has sinned. We are all under the penalty of death due to the sin of Father Adam. Because Adam sinned, all of his posterity are also born in […]

What are the real things we can do today to get to paradise? Only according to the Bible.

Three Scriptures use the word paradise. So to determine the way to get there, we need to identify where it is.

Luke 23:43, “Verily, I say to you today, you will be with me in Paradise.” Rotherham, one of the more accurate translations, places the comma after the word today. On that very day, Jesus was […]

What is Jesus’ baptism and how does it relate to salvation?

After Jesus received water baptism and after He received the Holy Spirit, He said, "But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished!" Luke 12:50 (NKJV). What baptism was this? It was the complete death of His will and His body. Hebrews 10:7, "Then I said, […]

Why could God not forgive Adam and Eve after He chased them from the Garden of Eden?

God acts on the principles which define His very character: justice, love, power, and wisdom. The Psalmist says in Psalm 89:14 “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face”. The foundation of God’s law is justice. Justice operates with mercy, but justice must also be met.

When […]
