Even though all kinds of sinful thoughts may pass through our brains, it is our Christian duty not to entertain them because sinful thoughts soon become sinful deeds. When you recognize a sinful thought against God, you must immediately ask for His forgiveness and [...]
There is no mention of marijuana in the Bible. Therefore, we can offer you no scriptures relating to marijuana or its use. The only drug we can relate it to in the Bible is alcohol (wine). The Scriptures urge us to be cautious. “Do not [...]
We know from biblical chronology that Adam was created approximately 6,000 years ago. Therefore, the earth would have to be older than 6,000 years. In fact, we believe that the earth is very old. Scientists used to think the earth was about 100 million years old. They [...]
We are to deal with such a person with patience and kindness. We do not know the person’s mental state or what trials he or she may be going through at the time. Rather than dwelling on our own hurt feelings, we, as Christians, [...]
We believe the verses you are referring to are found in 2 Kings 6:28-29 and relate to a terrible famine that was the result of the Syrians besieging Samaria during the time of the prophet Elisha. God allowed the siege and the famine because [...]
Both males and females have Adam’s Apples. The Adam’s Apple is thyroid cartilage. When the larynx or voice box grows during puberty, it sticks out at the front of the throat. A girl’s larynx does not grow as much as a boy’s does. The [...]
There is only one skin color: a brown pigment called melanin. All of humanity has basically the same skin color, just differing amounts of melanin. People with very little melanin have “white” skin. Those with a lot of melanin have very dark brown or “black” [...]
Just as Our Lord’s Great Prophecy (Matthew 24) applies now to the close of the Gospel Age, it also applied to the close of the Jewish Age. Jerusalem was sieged by the desolating Roman armies, bringing about a time of intense distress on the [...]
Acts 16:6-10: “Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the holy spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit [...]
