Some Christians believe the USA will definitely be the primary target for a third war. They say that after this cruel third war, nothing will be left behind in the USA to eat, drink, or even live. Will God allow this? (United States)

The location of the final battle is Jerusalem, not the USA. Joel 3:12, 14, 16-17 (KJV), 12 “Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit [...]

What does Hosea 2:18 mean? "And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety." (Nigeria)

Hosea 2:16, 18 (ESV), 16 “And in that day (during Christ’s 1,000 year reign on earth), declares the LORD, you (Israel) will call me ‘My Husband,’ ... 18 And I will make for them (Israel [...]

What does Jesus mean in the Parable of the Pound (Luke 19:12-26) that the money given to one of the servants did not multiply? He should have put it in the bank to yield interest. Which bank is this? (Nigeria)

In the Parable of the Pounds, each servant got a separate pound--one pound, no more, no less. The Lord did not explain what a pound meant, but the pound was a symbol. We suggest that [...]

What does King David mean when he said, "The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." Psalm 110:1. Is David calling Jesus Lord and GOD Lord? (United States)

Consider the Hebrew words in this verse. “JEHOVAH said unto my Lord (Adon), Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”  “Adon” is Strong’s word H113 and it is a [...]

Please explain James 4:4 (ESV), "You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." If I am fully consecrated believer living in a city or street where no other consecrated brothers are living nearby, then will I not be able to befriend with or be close to other non-believesrs for social issues, especially on neighborhood? Or I should live independently for every matters just to make sure I do not befriend non-believers or associate with members of nominal churches? (Tanzania)

Our hearts have great sympathy for you. Isolation from other believers is certainly a cross that you are bearing to the glory of God. Thankfully, today, we have mobile phones, email, Zoom, even paper mail [...]

Can you expound on 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV), “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”? (United States)

How is the Christian perfected (or “adjusted,” Rotherham), established, strengthened and settled in Christ? We realize we have a great work before us. Of necessity, we must be sober, vigilant and steadfast! This is a [...]

The phrase Jesus went and “preached” to the spirits in prison (1 Peter 3:19) is very difficult to understand. So what does it really mean? (Nigeria)

1 Peter 3:18-20 (ESV), 18 “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in [...]

What is the meaning of 1 Corinthians 12:2-4 (NKJV), 2 “You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.” Who is this about? (India)

Chapter 12 is about “spiritual” matters. It identifies at least four different ways or diversities of gifts (verse 4) in which the Holy Spirit operates. Why did Paul first remind the Corinthians that they worshipped [...]

Why is it that God, the powerful one, sacked Satan from heaven because of pride and then brought him to the world? Why does God expect us to stay with him? (Ghana)

When God sent Lucifer down to earth, Lucifer was not yet sinful. The name “Lucifer” carries the sense of “morning star” or “light bearer”. He became Satan when he lied to Eve. “Satan” means “adversary,” [...]

Is there any problem with praying the same prayer? For example praying for the success of a business, praying for healing, etc. Does that mean if I continue to pray for the same thing my faith in God is little? (United Kingdom)

From your examples, it seems as if you are praying and asking for natural blessings - not spiritual blessings. Jesus taught us not to be concerned about these natural things because God, our Father, knows [...]
