The Pentateuch is the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. "Penta" means five and "teuch" refers to scrolls or books. Some call the Pentateuch the five books of Moses; while Jewish people call this collection the Torah.
