Summary: God begets Christians to a new life with the Holy Spirit. Discussion: God calls some to follow Jesus. “He (Jesus) said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Mark 8:34 [...]
Perhaps you are thinking of the time before the flood when God saw the evilness of man. Genesis 6:5-8 (CSB), 5 “When the LORD saw that human wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every inclination of the human mind was nothing but [...]
In Jesus’s day, the Roman government ruled. Herod was a king over Jerusalem and Judaea. If you recall, Herod was so evil that he married his brother’s wife, Herodias. He also had John the Baptist’s head chopped off and brought to his birthday party [...]
A simple confession of faith is necessary, but is not sufficient to have a spirit resurrection. The saints, also called the body of Christ or the Little Flock, have covenanted with God through the blood of Jesus to sacrifice their wills to obey God’s [...]
Summary: No. If a person is spirit-begotten and then allows demons to rule him, he will die the second death. But God, out of love, will send many severe trials to bring that one to repentance before that happens. However, a person may still [...]
To have foreknowledge is crucial when one is designing and planning. If you are designing a building, you must know ahead of time how to finance, where to place it, basic layout, structure, materials, workers, etc., before you can even attempt to begin work. [...]
Who is the “us”? The LORD God is the architect of all creation. He designed and planned it. Then God created the Logos, meaning “word” in Greek. The Logos (Jesus) is the only begotten son of God (John 3:16), the first born (Colossians 1:15) of all [...]
This parable is recorded in Mark 13:28-31 and Luke 21:29-32. The Jewish scriptures sometimes represent Israel as a fig tree (Hosea 9:10, Jeremiah 24, Jeremiah 8:13). During King Solomon’s reign, Israel lived in safety, each man “under his own vine and fig tree” (1 [...]
Why would it be a sin? A sin is something that opposes God and His righteous will. How would taking a vaccine oppose God? The vaccine helps people to fight a virus. That virus has already killed between 3 million to 6 million people worldwide. [...]
Summary: Yes, we see many signs of our Lord’s return now! Matthew 24:30 answers the disciples’ questions of verse 3, “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming (Greek, presence) and of the end of the [...]

Our Lord Jesus returns as a king to reign in righteousness on earth. At the beginning, the manner of his presence is described as a thief in the night (in other words, secretly - 1 Thessalonians 5:2), and without observation (invisibly) (Luke 17:20). Jesus said to his disciples, “A [...]
This is a good question, full of good things to consider. First, read two scriptures: (1) “…the earth abides forever;” (Ecclesiastes 1:4) and (2) “For Christ has entered, . . . into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our [...]
Since the beginning of Christianity there have been misguided, sincere Christians who fall into the trap of confusing literal Bible verses with symbolic verses. For example consider Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand [...]
Abraham was one of the most important people in human history. James 2:22-24, summarizes: “You see that faith was working with his works…and Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, and Abraham was called a friend of God.”Early in the book [...]
God chose Israel because of their faithful ancestor, Abraham. Hebrews 11:8,11 recount the two most prominent examples of Abraham’s faith in God. God told Abraham in Genesis 12:2 that He would make a ‘great nation’ from his descendants. “And I will make you into [...]
Mark 10:18-19 (NIV), “‘Why do you call me good?’ Jesus answered. ‘No one is good—except God alone. You know the commandments: You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor [...]
There is much confusion about the manner and purpose of His return. Many false predictions have been published. Some take the Lord’s words, “lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world,” to mean that Christ never left and ascended to the Father. They believe that Jesus has been personally present during the entire gospel age. Such [...]
To understand verse 4:6, we need to recognize that all men are under the Adamic penalty of death. In other words, since Adam was under the death penalty, the entire human race is also under the death penalty. In a sense, we are all dead. (Matthew [...]

If a person becomes disobedient to God and strays into the occult, spiritism, shamanistic worship, hypnotism, drugs, idol [...]
