When we give ourselves to God, the Creator of everything, and come into His family through His son Jesus Christ, we become sons of God. Then to us, the Almighty’s name is Abba or Daddy or Father as Jesus taught us to pray.God identifies Himself with [...]
There are no instances of tithing in the New Testament. The Apostle Paul collected money to be brought to Jerusalem because the brethren there were having a very hard time, but Paul did not take any of that money. In fact, he paid his [...]
We can't give you any specific prayer, as all prayer must come from the heart of the one praying. In a group we can say, “Amen” to another’s prayer and join with them in their prayer, but when we pray alone, it needs to [...]
If we look at Scriptures relating to both ideas, we trust it will provide the answer. What does the Bible say about baby dedication? Exodus 13:2, "Sanctify unto me all the firstborn," and verse 18, "the firstborn males shall be the Lord's." The firstborn [...]
Many Pentecostal Christians today claim to speak in tongues. Some claim to be speaking in some actual human language other than their own, while others claim to be speaking an unknown tongue, or a language of angels - not a human language found on [...]
We are to distinguish between natural love and the love of God. All mankind has some share at least of natural love--self-love, love for family, love of friends. Our Lord, speaking of this kind of love, implies that it is not the love of [...]
The answer to your question really depends on what you mean when you say that a spouse is not “doing the will of God.” Do you mean that he or she is not behaving toward you in the marriage in the way that you [...]
According to the gospel accounts, the Holy Spirit of God descended on Jesus at his baptism. It seems reasonable that under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit he required time away from distractions for study and meditation. He was preparing to ready [...]
1 Peter 4:8 is a lovely scripture. Not knowing exactly what you have in mind the scriptures give us the principles. Then we need to learn to apply them in each situation. 1 Peter 4:8 reads, “And above all things have fervent charity among [...]
We know we are saved by grace of Jesus Christ because the following Bible verses tell us so, and we believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God:Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not [...]
Hurts and offences are never easy to deal with, and they become especially painful to us when they are directed (whether intentionally or not) at those we love. The fact that you and your family love going to church is a wonderful blessing! Each [...]
Dinosaurs fascinate us as they did the inspired writer of Genesis. We imagine vivid images of dread-inspiring beasts who once ruled earth. Dinosaurs belong to the fifth creative day (Genesis 1:20-23). The original Hebrew employs awestruck language to describe them as "great monsters," "swarming sea creatures," [...]
When Paul wrote his first epistle to those at Thessalonica they evidently believed that the Lord would return while they were still living, in the very near future. His message to them in the fourth chapter was that those of Jesus’ followers who had [...]

Hopefully we have understood your question properly and these Scriptures will give you the same hope that we have for every human being that has ever lived. The nation of Israel, God’s chosen people at the time, were delivered from Egypt. That’s a picture [...]
The great tribulation is mentioned in Revelation 7:19-14: "After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.... 'These are [...]
There are no scriptures which state that Jesus took Abraham and Moses into heaven. Both of these men of faith are dead and buried just like David. Acts 2:29, 34, “Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that [...]
